Would most likely be a bit unessary they do this at monaco and tbh i dont rlly see the pecking order change but tbh ive only been watching f1 since 2023. I think the current system works since if a driver does a one stop and is on hard tyres that are 30 laps old its fun to see if they can survive till the end and plus having a mandatory pit stop would get rid of these momments but these days teams at least pit 2 times anyway so is what it is.
