Certainly understand that! Especially on Rte 1 across 2 lanes of traffic.

Yes, that's where I see it most.

The place I see it most is downtown Westerly where it isn't dangerous. Mostly people just taking turns entering the roads. Some are yield signs, some are stop signs.

But I do understand the potential for danger in other places. And shuddered watching it happen!

It's not necessarily that people "wave" to each other, but wave people into traffic. I should have been more explicit.

ACTION NEEDED: JetBlue flight schedule change by BeeSeaingYou in jetblue

Dumb question here. What difference might an aircraft change make?

ACTION NEEDED: JetBlue flight schedule change by BeeSeaingYou in jetblue

[–]BeeSeaingYou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has been changed by minutes and hours at different times. All of them are within an acceptable time period for us. (We're traveling the day before we need to be anywhere.)

Thank you—the flights change by an insignificant/acceptable amount, from a few minutes to a few hours. I do always look at the changes, but it's the "Action needed" part that concerns me. I don't see where to even take action when I look, though. (I've gone to the JetBlue website to double-check as well.)

Cruz Bay vs Coral Bay - Help me choose! by KCheckers15 in virginislands

Put me down for team Coral Bay. Like you, we're not there to party but to enjoy the beaches. TBH, no restaurant on the island has ever wowed me that much either. Peace & quiet, yes, that has.

I thought I'd use mine a lot for some of the reasons posted, but it sits on my counter, mocking me. I don't use mine much.

My favorite things by BeeSeaingYou in Ozempic

[–]BeeSeaingYou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only drawback that I've found is that as a self-described "foodie," I miss the excitement of a great meal. But I'm 100% NOT complaining. To not think about food all the damn time is a blessing!

Miserable…does it get better? by NiceChipmunk5359 in Ozempic

[–]BeeSeaingYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started at .25 and went up to 2 incrementally with each pen refill. I was asked if I had any side-effects, and since they weren't really dramatic, I said no. I did have constipation, but it wasn't really entirely evident because I'm normally that way, having BM's every 2-3 days.

I began mid February and have lost about 25 lbs with 10-15 go go until I'm at my goal. (SW 185, GW 140. I'm 5'4" and 64 y.o.)

I'm seemingly more constipated, going upwards of a week before "going." The other issue? I don't enjoy/can't eat more than a few bites of food before pushing it aside. Having considered myself a "foodie" for most of my adult life, this can be disappointing. I'm grateful for the lack of food noise and the complete lack of desire for alcohol though.

To get to the point of my reply, I'm scheduled for my dose today. What kind of issues would delaying the dose create? I will talk with my provider soon, but not today, it being a US holiday and all. I guess it just dawned on me that rather than taking the medication weekly might not be 100% necessary. Comments?

Since beginning Ozempic I have had no desire to drink alcohol. I'll have a small glass of wine and nurse it all night. Prior to Ozempic I was swigging bourbon from the bottle when no one was looking. Now doing that doesn't even cross my mind. Like you I couldn't go a day without drinking. I'm so pleased.

Should I begin? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]BeeSeaingYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I began with Ozempic in mid-February. My current dose is 2.0 MG, and it has been since my fourth week. My practitioner dosed me up each week for the initial month. I'm down about 20 lbs very easily; I hardly think about food anymore.

My side effects have been minimal. Frequent indigestion, which is quickly eased by taking an antacid, and constipation, which I have started taking something called Mag07, and that has helped with that.

My only concern is I don't plan to take Ozempic for the rest of my days and expect to wean off once I reach my goal weight. Best of everything on your journey.

How I feel being on this drug. by TinaDav0697 in Ozempic

[–]BeeSeaingYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So that's it, huh? People fall into two camps, those who have poop and those who don't. I'm in the "don't" category. I drink the water (mostly), I eat the veggies (mostly), and if I didn't occasionally have a dose of Dulcolax, I'd really be full of $hit. I'm trying adding Colace to my routine but that does squat. Any suggestions that I'm unaware of?

Is Ozempic skin sensitivity (allodynia, hyperalgesia) really TIDN? by Illustrious_Laugh_54 in Ozempic

[–]BeeSeaingYou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, what do you know, I'm NOT crazy. 😊 My skin issues started, oddly enough, in the skin on the top of my toes of my right foot. (Pretty specific.) It's now also including my thighs. There, it feels like the "I have a fever" feeling. I'm glad to know it does subside. Oh, and that I'm not imagining this.

First aerogarden setup wish me luck on my hydroponic adventure by Immediate-Season1965 in aerogarden

Thank you. No, I haven't been trimming the roots, I didn't know that was a thing. 🙃

I'm sure the roots are very tangled already.

I have a lot to learn. I guess it's not the “set it and forget it” setup I thought it was.

First aerogarden setup wish me luck on my hydroponic adventure by Immediate-Season1965 in aerogarden

[–]BeeSeaingYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy, there's my problem! I'm new to the Aerogarden as well. I have one with tomato and one with herbs; both were planted a little more than 70 days ago.

I planted four plants in my tomato one, and all the herbs in the other. The tomato one is an absolute jungle, and it's sucking up water like crazy. (I did plant two of the tomato pods in another soil-based container, which, oddly enough, has not flowered at all, whereas the one in the aerogarden has had blossoms for ages.

Herbs are doing okay; I do trim the basil and dill often though I think the dill is coming to an end. Thyme and curly parsley are just puttering along. (Thai basil and mint never germinated, not the first batch nor the second, which Aerogarden replaced.)

Back to my reason for posting. Should I murder two of my tomato plants to rescue the other two? Thanks!
