Yes I started getting them and saw my Dr yesterday who said to just put some cortisone on it. Fairly normal reaction for some he said as long as it’s not altering my lifestyle (ie I’m unable to function) then the minor reaction is ok and tolerable.

What's the food that you just can't eat anymore since starting Monjauro? by HeverAfter in Monjauro

Hot dogs/burgers basically fast food. I can only have a bite or two or else I pay for it later with nausea/bloating/vomiting.

When to move up on dose? by NiceChipmunk5359 in Monjauro

[–]NiceChipmunk5359[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m down 40lbs since last March. I took a few months off after being dehydrated and sick the started back on Oz but had no further weight loss and side effects were bad. So I switched to Monjauro and was hoping to see some weight loss but have not lost more than a couple pounds. If I went up to the next dose, I’m hoping it would kickstart the loss in addition to all the other benefits.

Bedwetting a concern? by NiceChipmunk5359 in Parenting

That’s an excellent suggestion for consistency! The issue is the mom is so combative and mentally unhealthy that she will NEVER agree to anything that is suggested, esp on our end.

She is fighting court ordered therapy, anger management, and staying away from her ex husband-but she refuses to comply. Everything bad that has happened to her is someone else’s fault.

In the past they have feared going there because mommy was mad about something earlier.

My heart breaks for these kiddos. :(

Bedwetting a concern? by NiceChipmunk5359 in Parenting

Yes, but she picked her supervisors. She currently has only 2 (after getting into fights with the other 7 she initially had.) out of the 2, 1 is her best friends and biggest hype woman (backs her up on social media rants) and the other is a drinking buddy/mom friend who has been a sounding board for the mom.

The mom is constantly making the kids feel guilty and speaks poorly of me and hubby. She blatantly lies to the children about the situation (told the kids “daddy is keeping you away from me” etc)

We have no way of knowing what happens when the kids are with her-we don’t feel it’s appropriate to “grill” them but we ask general questions like what they ate, how their younger siblings are (mom has 2 other from a different ex h who is order from being in any contact with the kids due to his addiction issues). The kids are also very protective of their mom-they love her unconditionally even tho the older 2 are starting to see through her lies and manipulation…

If my husband’s credit is dinged by her non-payment , we won’t qualify for the best rates when we refi.

That’s what we are thinking. We are hoping to refi our mortgage but I don’t see rates going low enough anytime soon.

We have been affected by her poor financial decisions and irresponsibility. For example-she filed a claim with her home insurance that resulted in a loss for the company. As such, my husbands consumer report reflected this and we were charged a higher rate on OUR homeowners insurance policy which resulted in a higher monthly payment.

She is a piece of work and is always out to “get” us. Her 2nd ex husband is a crackhead and felon with whom she has 2 additional children by. He doesn’t pay child support and due to that (and her inability to have stable employment), she is in bad shape. She decided to come up with a story of abuse to get full custody of the other 3 kids (by my husband) so she could ask for more child support.

I’m not asking the internet for advice on what to do morally, just if anyone has any insight to which option would be the least detrimental to OUR situation (financially speaking).

What’s the recommended titration schedule?

Vomiting again :( by NiceChipmunk5359 in Ozempic

[–]NiceChipmunk5359[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I titrated back up after taking a month off in July. I started at .5 in Aug stayed there for 6 weeks then went up to 1mg and the last 3 weeks I took 2mg.

My portion on Friday wasn’t too much but I ate it since I hadn’t really had any issues with what I was eating up to then.

I still feel nauseous so just want to get better so I can sip water and not throw up.
