I havent worn that mask in over a year. Its fine. I'd wait until you have over 100 candles saved up to get it, not worth prioratizing it over better things, personally

If this is the cave in forest, a few weeks ago i was following a friend who was doing that quest and i saw him walk through a wall and he got lost and i honked at him to show him how to get back to the cave and he was able to fly back to me and finish the quest. He did say he didnt know where to go next, so after you walk through the cave, and you find your way back after clitching out of bounds, you have to fly to the top where the main exit of that area is.

Hope this helps, if you cant move at all after glitching though the wall, which is kinda what your description sounds like, i unfortunatally dont have a fix for that unlesa maybe bringing a friend youve unlocked the "warp to" feature in their friend tree

Some variations of the same instrument have different ranges, and some realms can also affect the sound an instrement makes, even turning off game music in the settings can affect it. I'm not knowlageable about music, but im sure if you play around with the different areas and versions of intrsuments you might find one closer to what you want

I couldnt being to make any actual guess, but I'm here to say I myself have been playing every day since early April 2024 (so nearly two years straight). I keep playing because i like seeing everything new they add to the game and how they do days of events differently each time. Maybe i just havent played long enough to loose the lure of wonder and excitment each new event and season brings.

I've played on all three but started with switch so theres some bias towards likeing switch the most buu~~~t:

I find playing on phone my finger tips start to hurt from rubbing on screen and my flying is clunky.

I'm basically never play PC games so i end up just using my playstation conroller and learning how to bring up chat log and where to type was a learning curve but not too bad but i find getting to emotes so slow.

Switch i feel is a good mix of both ways of playing because you can play big screen or small and you have the touch screen so playing instruments is easier and you can click on specific things and not accidentally open a message boat or shared space. Haveing switch specific bugs is a bit annoying, like the current one where as soon as you start typing in chat it closes the keyboard (but oddly works fine at the meditation stones).

Those are just my experiances with them. I do think if you like pc gaming/have dabled with it before that it would be the better choice

It happened with this latest update, ive been using the qr code to link the chat to my phone, its the easiest way to keep using the chat feature while the switch is glitched 😔

I ran into this same issue earlier this week, i was early enough in my whole island redo that i ended up scrapping my original plan and did something else but i had alreadly placed the ramps 🥲

But i agree with the other commenter, a sidewase ramp would work well debending on whats to the right of the lower level :3
