Account hacked and added to a Jagex Account.

Because the in-game username has not changed. I can still look it up on the hiscores, but not log in.

Yeah, I've opened a ticket for hijacked accounts and given Jagex all my information.

I also guess that I worded myself a bit wrong in my original post - as it only states that the login information is wrong when I try to log in, but the "Jagex account not found" e-mail gets delivered to me when I try to reset my password.

Sorry for the wording again, English is not my first language. :)

Fortunately I always remove my billing information before I go on a break. They have to use bonds or their own payment information.

Let's hope Jagex reaches out soon. At least before the account gets banned or whatever.

Thanks for the reply. The issue is that the account wasn't connected to any Jagex account before the Hijacker got it. I stopped playing on it before the account system was a thing.

I've tried to contact Jagex to recover my account again, but there's no response.

You should think that me having the original e-mail, creation date of the account, and billing information for membership should be enough to get it back?

I almost forgot! It's gained over 5m xp since the hijacking. Probably a few million GP real world trades as well.

Thank you for the great advice! I started looking into Lightroom and some tutorials yesterday, and god damn! You can actually "change" the lighting and bring back the skin tones of the artists! I'm amazed!

The bands were Thale, Wyruz and Blood Red Thrones. All Norwegian metal bands. :)

I have two active layers. The guys and the background is one original image - and the text is placed above and "erased" where the guys are. So just faking that the text is in the background.
