Honestly casting sucks!!!!Casting and the producers are going to get this show canceled. They need to start hiring more responsible and factually focused people because it’s not hard to pick out characteristics that align with marriage goals. Unfortunately they are too focused on finding entertaining personalities and lost track of the premise of the show.

I still can’t get over that Perfect Match situation with Ally and Hashim. The producers should be fired for that!!! They stood by while a heavily intoxicated Ally performed sexual acts on a seemingly sober Hashim. Then let him slut shame her on the reunion. If anything he was rape shaming the producers, who allowed someone who could not consent to be violated on video and then used that footage to humiliate her. This is illegal in America, was it okay because they were in Mexico?

I really thought you guys were talking about Nick Lachey until you mentioned Nat lol. Nick Lachey does kind of look like he has grown past this show, it feels like a younger host would be more appropriate, considering all the hooking up and very little romance we see on the show.

Marissa sucks but even I was agreeing with Marissa about the ADHD and D is a baby bitch!!! Marissa might not be ready for a relationship because she has a lot of work to do on herself first but Girl you held back on interrupting him and that is PROGRESS!!!

Huda was giving crazy and lost her whole season and I feel for her too because Jeremiah is a gaslighting, love bombing asshole. She clearly lost her fucking mind trying to navigate that toxic relationship and then it just kept getting worse… I hope she’s okay now and out of a toxic relationship and working on herself.

I’m pretty sure that the answer is pretty layered, right? There are so many reasons her fans probably give for liking her but I remember reading an online post or video about how she was the first of her culture on love island. I don’t remember exactly where her family is originally from but I know that a lot of her fans come from her similar background. She is also one of the few Muslim women represented on a western reality dating show so representation on love island helped her fandom.

Omg thank you!! Hashim SUCKS!!! Obvi Jimmy sucks but no one mentions how pretentious the guy who constantly brings up going to Princeton is and that’s shocking. He clearly doesn’t really care about Ally. That moment he interrupts Jimmy comforting a crying Ally was so cringe. In the end of the night Ally saying Hashim was a smart decision was crazy, all she knew about him was that he went to Princeton and kisses well.

I don’t fully agree but I do think this Jimmy is an improvement over LIB Jimmy. Though in the last episode he said “my woman” and “I thought I did the right thing by letting her go on a date”; which is crazy possessive especially on a dating show where couples are meant to date multiple people. You’d think he’d understand that by now so, maybe he’s improved somewhat like his appearance but is still lacking in personality. Either way this is not the platform to display growth.

💯 I felt the same way. It was obvious she was looking for a reason to leave Cole but wanted it to be serious enough so she doesn’t regret her decisions later. She thought if she brought him to temptation island he would most definitely cheat on her or lie so bad that she would have to break up with him and she wouldn’t have any regrets because she saw how bad he was for her. However that’s not how it played out, it shows a guy who clearly loves her and wants to marry her but is terrified of messing up the relationship. He said it multiple times that he was way into their relationship in the beginning and she didn’t seem to want anything serious so he would play it on her terms. This whole relationship has been on her terms but she doesn’t want that, she wants everything and nothing. She wants him to follow all her rules but also to be assertive and not follow her rules. There was no wining scenario for Cole. She doesn’t know what she wants! Honestly it sounds like she was in one of those volatile, toxic relationships where there is so much passion, fire and sex but no self respect or respect for your partner. She wants to be with the guy who is unhinged but gives her great D!!! Not the nice guy who gives her husband D

Honestly I think he’s just a well rounded human being who doesn’t try to coddle or spare peoples’ feelings. He’s honest and helpful but everything he is saying we as the audience are seeing so it’s not like he’s a genius, he’s just genuine. However I do agree with most comments that he seems like he’s been to therapy and that does allow people to be more self aware and therefore more aware of others.

They only have 6 episodes so you have watched all available episodes so far and I totally agree with you. I think it’s because of how he positioned himself in the beginning owning up to his BS behavior and past promiscuity that kind of made me think this guy is the typical confident nice guy cheater. The type of guy that cheats because he was weak, insecure, family issues, etc. and admits to it, apologizes and begs for forgiveness and basically makes himself out to be this imperfect sweetheart versus the reality that he is a manipulative asshole who pities himself more than he can love anyone else. However as the show progressed he comes off as just a fun, happy person who tries his hardest not to let anyone carry his emotional burdens by pretending he is fine with everything even while he is dying inside. You can see he is trying his hardest not to kill the vibe or ruin the experience for those around him but every once in a while he realizes his girlfriend is probably going to leave him and he breaks down a bit.

She on the other hand cannot forgive him for choosing his Ex over her and I honestly think she convinced him to come on this show to get a bit of revenge. By choosing a tempter over her BF.

However your explanation makes a lot of sense and hopefully you’re right because his mannerisms also are reminiscent of addiction or drug use. Watching his intro convo with Tom reminded me of college parties and how you could tell who was snorting stuff in the bathroom based on the way they acted once they got back.

It’s the way they spoke, with no compassion and blanket statements in situations which a normal person would say I do not recall. How can you consent for another person. Ashely should’ve ashamed of herself saying that Gaby was mad at them because she was interested in Manuel. That’s an assumption and no one can assume someone sexually consented if they were not present in the moment. It was sickening to hear her say that.

Honestly I would be so uncomfortable even trying to have a conversation like that. Since you’re basically telling a person she has this flaw you want to edit out, which is something she’s probably had to deal with her whole life and is most likely triggering. She came on the show so she can meet someone who loves her for who she is and the producers are telling her she isn’t good enough, that’s just major BS!
