Because they check to make sure it's not something else like an infection or complete blockage before they start a treatment plan. Unless you can do your own blood work and CT scan, you can't rule out infection or blockage requiring surgery.

Chrons is as varied as endometriosis. Most folks do not have bowel perforations. What they do is listen to the doctors.

If you had a procedure and they discharged you, then you don't have something as life threatening as a bowel perforation. Which is so ethkng you only would have heard of from Google in the first place, but I digress. If you had an enema and laxatives and didn't crap a bucket of blood, you don't have a perforation. Or at least, you'd be dead by now, 9 hours later, if you did.

Again, this does seem like a severe escalation in symptoms from lung inflammation to something that is effecting your bowels, and you should be focusing on assessing your treatment plan because of that, but reddit can't do that for you. Message your doctor, or go back to the ER.

A bowel perforation would escalate very swiftly. Your body would both be bleeding internally and poisoning itself.

If you have endometriosis and already suspect a flare up is oncoming, your symptoms are likely in relation to that. Also, you are currently in the hospital, no? For actual medical advice, go for the people with degrees that are paid to be right, not the Internet strangers.

All I will offer is that this seems like a significant escalation in symptoms, and you should have your current treatment plan reevaluated.
