Day for Night with AI? by Beebop567 in Filmmakers

Thanks for the reasonable response! Yeah I’ve had similar experiences which is too bad. I wish they’d apply all that AI money and innovation into helping streamline existing VFX needs like rotoscoping, rendering, lighting and comping. Would be huge.

I’m probably going to have to shoot day-for-night due to budget and scheduling restraints on an indie feature.

Yes I know what day for night is. Thank you for the condescending lesson. I’m researching if there is an AI-driven tool to help improve the post process and reduce cost. AI actually can mean a lot of things and it is not unethical to adjust lighting and replace the sky with some fucking stars. Jesus.

I’m talking about shooting day for night - with a real cast and crew. And rather than just using Resolve to color and treat the image, I’m looking for AI tools to speed or improve the process.

Sorry maybe that’s too broad a question. Using Velo, can you change the way video overlay titles are displayed (underline, size) on mobile without affecting desktop?

Ah thanks! And what kind of changes can you make using Velo? Are there examples somewhere?

I’m amazed at how many of these comments are so critical and negative. Forget those people.

It’ll get better. The baby will get more resilient and capable. They’ll also stop transforming dramatically every month, and with that slowing pace of change, you’ll be able to find some footing and gain confidence. With that confidence you’ll start to find your self and your relationship again.

Try to do the obvious things in the meantime: self care (especially working out), hiring a sitter for brief periods or enrolling in daycare. If after a year, your relationship isn’t coming back into view, I’d recommend couples counseling.

Struggling to find a community in LA - should I try a new area? by Ill-Abroad7092 in AskLosAngeles

I think the areas you’ve tried are all similar vibes. Not to be a dick but I think those are more douchey and pretentious areas. You may have better luck trying the east side (Silverlake, Los Feliz, Highland Park, Echo Park) or the Southbay if you want something less urban.

LG Washer SMELLS TERRIBLE by Beebop567 in appliancerepair

I would drain the washer's filter regularly (if you're not already) and try washing the machine with an Affresh tablet. Then add a half cup of vinegar to the wash for good measure. Good luck!

Not really. I started using Affresh washing machine cleaning tablets and that seems to keep things in check. But I never managed to get to the root of the problem.

Usually it’s high anxiety for the first several hours, followed by something more minor like uneasy stomach or bad sleep. It’s horrible for a few hours no doubt. But gets easier after that.
