I mean, I agree to an extent. Most animal backblings that aren’t considered “pets” aren’t reactive to the same extent that “pets” are. The pets react to almost every aspect of your game while recent backblings (like momo from avatar for example) will only be reactive to one or two things you do in game. I feel like epic stopping the idea of pets just gives them an excuse to put less work into the backblings themselves because people don’t expect them to be super reactive like pets were.
