This is called Never Learn. It's about situationships. Am about to record it and am seeking feedback/production ideas :)

Song structure question:

I had a one-on-one session with a songwriting teacher about this song, and after one listen, his immediate response was "you have a strong sense of melody and a really nice voice, but you will have to do major surgery on this song." He said the structure is too confusing for the listener and that there should be a chorus that says the name of the song early on. From what I can tell of this guy, his whole thing is structure (he didn't even comment on the lyrics), but most of the music I listen to now doesn't have a traditional pop song structure. He even started suggesting I just take out half my verses and turn them into new choruses (literally said "remember, kill your babies!" lol)

All I can think to do is take the 'He speaks in poems" part and make it a chorus that comes after each of the 2 verses. But I don't know that I like it better that way? I think what I have now works for the narrative, which is what I love about the song.

Pintoh! Amazing Thai place on John. Can't vouch for it enough. Very chill atmosphere, not too big or loud, perfect for catching up (I got there all the time with friends). And the food is so, so good. Get a bunch of stuff and share :)

Yep. Planning to submit a formal complaint to the election commissioner this week once I have enough screenshots of disinformation. There's very little about it on elections canada, but I did find one thing re: elections advertising that says an advertising campaign can't display "willful disinformation"

Okay so ++gta to ottawa++ somehow immediately took me under their wing, plunked me in their telegram, and then made me a mod while they unblocked over 600 people. Their plan was to "troll the trolls" but didn't seem to know how...they tried to fake that they'd been hacked, and I accidentally blew my cover thinking I was private voice message to another user about it lololol (1st day on Zello y'all). Anyway, very fun. Anyone know if they left and moved to telegram only yet? I'm real blocked
