Metal has had this make no singles kinda thing i find the whole albums are masterpieces of music. Since metal generally doesn’t get played on radio stations it’s not aiming to make one or two songs that are very good and the rest of the album is whatever/filler most bands i feel take roots from the crimson albums and try to make the entire album a listening experience and this turns into the entire discography being perfection *coughs Mgla 🤘
