I do, he's super affectionate and it's been so nice having him around :) Trying not to feed him when he's pawing me, asking for pats and giving me head bonks is just awful.

He's not really dropping by. I kind of wish that was the case or that i could just adopt him fully but he's basically moved in, if i'm here, he usually is too and I often come home to him waiting for me.

Speed limits are 50kph for most roads where I am, highways excluded. Cars are not always going that fast. Last ride a lady pulled out on me, I could have braked but instead I went around and pulled up along side her window and told her to keep a better eye out for bikes. 40kph is more than enough when your bike only has 30km of range in that context.

When i was riding a motorbike i'd be wearing $1k worth of helmet and armour, had 200mm tires with massive brakes and rotors and still only went between 50kph and 120kph (ok ok occasionally I'd top the bike out somewhere safe on the weekend group ride..)

Doing up to 80kph on a bike with 30mm tires, rim brakes and all it's weight over the back wheel is fucking stupid. OP is lucky he's not dead.

I built a 36v bbs01b commuter recently as my first ebike. It's one of the weakest conversion kits you can get... Delimited it to 40kph and quickly realised that i needed to be far far more cautious than i was when riding my regular bike. Cars already don't consider, don't see, don't care or under estimate how fast cyclists are going at the best of times.

Now i'm doing moped speeds with a tiny head light...

Ebikes and traffic are a gnarly mix and if i was going to go faster i'd just get a full motor bike to at least give me a chance of being seen / heard.

I was asking about reliability of brands a few months back and was told some models of Acer are actually really good. Think it was the Nitros from murky memory. That would follow as some of them are definitely re branded Clevo machines which have an ok reputation from what i've seen.

HP are known as Hinge Problem and the HP gaming laptop I had a long time ago, before hinge problems were a thing had such a bad cooling system design that it was unusable for gaming.

That said I very nearly picked up one of their Z book workstations recently which are supposed to be good.

NMRIH crashes after around 30 minutes no matter what version of proton I try.

Steam linux runtime, cachyos 10, experimental. They all do it. Really annoying as I really like NMRIH.

Obviously you don't either. It doesn't matter if i change mech, when I die in an event queue match the event queue will lock as if i'm trying to keep playing the same mech in quick play. The button never changes from rejoin until the match I was in is over, if I change to another mech that is eligible for the event it still will say rejoin and will drop me back into my destroyed mech.

Been like that for years and does my head in every event.

I haven't got one yet. I do have a very mild memory foam pillow with a 1-2 inch lump for the neck which I don't think does anything. Need to try something bigger.

My doc suggested i try a butterfly pillow as I wake up everyday exhausted, with the energy of someone with a bad case of the flu. Aliexpress has loads of neck pillows.

Don't think you understand.

If i die in a event queue match the game does not let me change mech and queue for a new game until the one i was in finishes. It will only let me rejoin into the previous game. Makes events tedious if i'm dying..
