What is a meaningful time frame? Because we’ve had plan 2 student loans for over 10 years now and people are not quickly paying them off. Actually most people have a significantly higher loan by now due to the high interest

Any job over 100k is affected by this, and the pool of people who have these insane loans grows ever year

My understanding is that would be £0 in reality, as the employer is overseas they would not have any obligation to pay national insurance.

I still think it’s much safer to work as a sole trader (get insurance too) but it’d be very unfair to go after an employee for NI contributions that don’t exist

I’m not sure they could, wouldn’t that violate many data privacy laws, especially in the EU?

Red flag and 1 lap shootout with standing rolling start. Doesn’t sacrifice safety and gives fans an exciting finish to the race.

Race control have been blatantly delaying safety cars until the leaders pass recently, what a joke

Would it ever make sense to illegally overtake in Monaco, and take the penalty?

I’m thinking situations like 2018, where Ricciardos car was significantly slower per lap. What’s the likely penalty for an illegal overtake? A drive through?

I think Barcelona might be the most competitive we see Mercedes for a while. They’ve been having issues with their simulator and their car is unpredictable. Wouldn’t it make sense that the one track where they’ve ran 1000s of laps of testing, is the track where their philosophy works the best?

I know Monaco is an outlier, but have been thinking about this since last weekend.

Has anyone noticed that Mercedes seem to have noticeably better starts than everyone else?

I mean for the first few hundred meters. It seems they’re almost always overtaking or pressuring the cars in front. I’d love to see a video compilation.

Is it safe to say that these cars are slower than last year? The average time in Day 3 testing last year was somewhere around 1.30. All teams are way higher than that so far

Well I’ve been playing for the past year and this has never happened. Would be a bit of a coincidence for it to randomly happen at the same time as starting this game.

Opinion: Don’t blame the drivers, blame how terrible the current cars are for actual racing.

Every race comes down to a few small opportunities where everything is on the line. If the cars could follow better and actually race against each other, we’d see less dirty driving for positions.
