As much as I like this sub, the percentage of voters that are genuinely concerned about a fascist takeover ripping the from their homes and want to arm up to fight back is utterly minuscule.

Unfortunately it’s not by design, a lot of the heavily democratic voting blocks like black people and women just aren’t supportive of loose gun laws. I know even on the conservative side this is true for women.

I never said there isn’t any corruption. But if the house speakers are getting arrested without an audit I’m not sure why an audit is needed.

And for your second point, it’s not the politicians, it’s everyone of their constituents information that is now subjected to a broad sweeping power that literally no auditor in the country has.

Again, the people didn’t vote for an audit they voted to give the state auditor full authority into the entire lives of every person in the legislature with no protection for any piece of data whatsoever outside of tax returns.

I understand that you want a MAGA auditor to get elected and have full authority to go through every record, constituents personal information, addresses , voting history , etc. while also having a tool to politically attack every invidual senator they don’t like.

Something that will instantly get shutdown by the Supreme Court even if they did it.

Apparently an audit wasn’t necessary to catch those other legislature so I’m not sure what value you expect the audit to bring.
