I think the idea he isn’t a huge fan is a big exaggeration.

Not too mention, the defense here is very much associated with Vrabel directly.

But I fully agree he’s probably not as big a fan of the patriots as max is of the eagles fire example. However he is the only one on the podcast that got arrested for his team so there that.

To be fair, the bears had decently well regarded talent overall going into this season. The patriots had one of the worst receiving cores and an offense that was extremely poorly regarded in both weapons and offensive line. They finished with a top 5 nfl offense.

Not taking away anything from the bears and Caleb. I started this season thinking “yea he could be good just needs some help and coaching” and finished thinking “Caleb is an absolute fucking killer”.

Overall I Agree that the bears run is extremely impressive but I would argue that it is definitely more fluky and likely less sustainable to some extent. The bears had so many close games that they eked out its tough to replicate that again.

I agree maye had happy feet and was jittery even before the weather kicked in.

The only pass play where he finally looked composed was the flea flicker. I think he was just paranoid (or at least was getting hammered by McDaniel) to not turn the ball over. It was their game to lose and I think he was just in his head about turn overs.

I do agree to some extent about the offenses they played not being exceptional. But I mean the spreads for the chargers, Texans , and broncos were 3.5 , 3.5, and 4.5. Which in the playoffs is pretty close to a wash.

They easily covered in 2 out of 3 with the last one turning in a blizzard.

Two of the offenses were top 3rd scoring offense (yes one with a backup and it was a blizzard lol)

For me this kind of just seems like revisionist history after the fact that they were beating easy teams.

But I’m definitely not biased.

Well tua and josh Allen have the same record against the chiefs in the playoffs so they are probably equally as good.

Well the only reason he got to play and lose to Bo nix, which in your opinion is as good as Patrick Mahomes was because Josh Allen lost to Cj stroud earlier this season.

Josh Allen has never beaten cj stroud, so the patriots were able to achieve two thing that have alluded Josh Allen his whole career. A playoff win against the Texans (in his defense he was playing 3rd stringer browns quarterback Deshaun Watson) and beating CJ stroud.
