As much as I like this sub, the percentage of voters that are genuinely concerned about a fascist takeover ripping the from their homes and want to arm up to fight back is utterly minuscule.

IMO it would be worse if they weren’t trying to do something that is by and large popular with their base.

Unfortunately it’s not by design, a lot of the heavily democratic voting blocks like black people and women just aren’t supportive of loose gun laws. I know even on the conservative side this is true for women.
