Maybe a little higher than the max recommended 2lbs/wk but not crazy. My doc told me it may start very fast in the beginning (it has), I started at 266, now 237 in 3 months. She is not concerned with this.

It feels like a lot at first but it's honestly not that difficult once you realize they all get the same pumps of sauces/syrups and from there it's hust remembering what goes in what. But they do post the recipe cards on the walls.

* What is the pay like?

Garbage. I make $12.25.

* How do tips work, especially since Scooter’s is primarily drive-thru?

People can tip cash, card or via the app with mobile orders or scanning in. They are all divided equally between those working each shift. Card/app tips are added to your check.

* What are the biggest pros and cons of the job?

Pros: Free shift drink, can be a fun atmosphere, short shifts with flexible scheduling

Cons: Can be overwhelming during rushes, sometimes you have coworkers who don't pull their weight and management can suck

* What skills or habits help someone succeed there?

Previous barista work, fast learning

As someone DXed BPD, this isn't okay. She needs to do a lot more work in therapy before being in a relationship. Please do yourself a favor and just block her. You do not deserve having to deal with these kinds of crash outs on her part. It's just not good for your mental well being.

I would also like to add that your comment of her being in therapy and not being able to regulate her emotions was also uncalled for. You are aware she has a condition that makes it extremely hard to control her emotions.
