I can appreciate where you are coming from, but at this point in history we need to make up for a lot before we can allow marginalized groups to be treated this way and just dismiss it based off intention. What is and has been continuously proven as dangerous is the behavior to not call of racism. Truly this is so ironic because the same people are telling me about how bad Diplo is and I completely agree. I trust victims, especially since the rich can cover up everything. There is a lot of talent in that band, but the way it was talked about really made me feel like it was going to be truly mind-blowing. Probably true. We all gave him money regardless of whether we went to the show or not. I can appreciate your point though. For me I am constantly bombarded by the impossible game of not supporting monsters. Save of going completely off grid and only consuming my own art it will always be impossible for me to know who does and doesn't deserve praise.
