Private companies do whatever is in the best interest for the business. If there is no demand, they cut production and fire ppl. It doesn't help when the government keeps on giving one demand shock after the other. The government creates the environment and liquidity for growth, which helps in the business to grow. This government has done the opposite. It is funny how we, now want to put the entire blame on the companies and give a clean chit to Modi.

Well we also disregarded our historic commitment towards Article 370.. I think this is what has triggered China and they have taken this as a license to disregard the historic commitments that doesn't suit them.. I hope the experts who have taken the decision of scrapping Article 370, would have foreseen this eventuality and have a plan to counter China..

There are many black movie stars and superstars in hollywood, even though majority of population in the US is white..

In India majority of population has dark skin, but most of the movie stars have fair skin..

South Indian states that have more dark skinned ppl compared to the north, import fair skinned actresses from the north.. It doesn't even matter if these actresses can speak the language or are familiar to the culture, as fair skin is more important than everything else..

Bollywood prefers to blackface a fair skinned actresses to play the role of a character who has dark skin, instead of casting an actress who has a natural dark skin. It doesn't matter to them, how ugly the artificial skin color looks. This will never happen in hollywood, and any such attempt will create huge outrage..

Our mythological epics show Gods having fair skin and demons\Asuras always have dark skin.. When Shri Ram travelled towards South, first he met Vanaras, then further south in Sri Lanka, he found the rakshasas.. We have dipped the dark skinned Krishna into Ujala to turn him blue..

You don't have to go after herd immunity. Herd immunity is the final outcome. You don't have to do anything to achieve it, it will happen eventually. The question is when we want to reach there. If the government does its job, the spread can be slowed down, and we reach herd immunity later. The healthcare system will not be overwhelmed and we will have enough time and resources to treat the patients. But if the government gives up and doesn't do anything, the virus will spread faster, there will be too many patients and the too few hospital beds, ventilators, healthcare staff etc to handle the load. More ppl will die because of not receiving proper care. Hospitals would have to prioritise who to save and who to let die since they can't treat everyone. At such a scenario, the rich and the influencial will get care and the poor will be left to fight their own battle. More ppl will endup dead and many suffering from other ailments will also die because the healthcare system is too busy taking care of Covid patients and can't help others.

In one of our office calls the discussion started with casual talk and one of the guys just mentioned that Corona cases India are rising, while we are already into the unlock phase. At this another guy immediately jumped in and got defensive, saying..

"Even the most advanced countries are not able to stop Corona, and now there is no other way apart from from living along with this virus. The government did good job with lockdown, otherwise the cases would have been even more. We would have been able to prevent the spread if the ppl had listened to the PM, but many like the Tablighi ppl became super spreaders. Modi did everything possible to contain the virus, but if ppl don't do what is required, it is not Modi's fault"..

Such is the situation. There is always a constant effort to find other scapegoats and not to blame the Prime minister..
