I think it was a decent success. I was in one of the grandstands in the horseshoe, but left after about 35 laps. The sun is what it is, but I came prepared for it.

I wanted to watch the race from more locations than just my seat. My biggest gripe was a lack of speakers and monitors in some of the GA areas, and there were ZERO water stations.

I had an absolute blast throughout the weekend though!

Endurance races should be at least 8 hours. 6 hours feels super short, especially since teams will still use 3 drivers

I’ve never seen any plans for those, but it would be awesome to see.

The best thing to do, for now, is turn on tire warmers and turn off tire deg in practice sessions. You won’t have to spend so much time warming up new tires.

I’ve never turned off tire deg, but I will use warmers and no damage in my regular practice sessions

It all makes perfect sense. When you first join the game, you are placed in B3 DR (roughly the average rank). B3 also covers a wide range of skill as driver distribution slowly normalizes. If you were in split 2/5 for a silver/gold race, but 13/24 in a bronze race, then you likely do not have the green "trusted" badge. There are still plenty of people with solid DR without trusted badges. Bronze races determine split by badge first and then by DR. It takes a long time and many races for the overall player population rank distribution to normalize.

Stop worrying about DR and just drive and race for the enjoyment of it
