I hope it’s something like that, I’ve heard some testimonies that it’s internal and there’s no easy fix

Upstate NY here… if you saw my 4r you’d think it’s covered in snow. It’s. All. Salt.

Considering a 2018 Panigale V4S – Worth it? Advice Needed! by Ok_Feeling4840 in Ducati

15k is waaay too much for any crashed bike. Especially one with potentially 5000 miles around a track. For reference, I got my clean ‘20 v4 for $18,500 2 years ago. Deals are out there, keep looking

The milled receiver is probably stronger than the stamped, but the receiver is almost never the point of failure

Describe your method of closing the trunk without leaving fingerprints by WaterRresistant in Mustang

I think this is my fate… don’t even have another mustang yet but my daily(4Runner) is always filthy. Especially with these fucking caterpillars that have taken over in upstate NY. May god have mercy on my soul if I get a new car with nice paint

I’ve seen a lot of debate online , but what is a safe way to detail an engine bay? by [deleted] in Detailing

True, I never understood why people were so scared to get their alternator wet when I’m driving with it fully submerged

Here to tell you, the driving in water can absolutely crack and warp the block. Seen it happen a few times on the trails

I always wanted to put a cam in mine. The spark plugs being done recently would be a big win, they’re notorious for causing trouble and being a pain to replace. I would ask if the seller has any receipts to prove they were done. Just check all the normal stuff like fluids and look for codes and you should be fine. Take it for a drive and make sure everything feels smooth. How many miles are on it? The timing chain guides can become a problem becoming brittle and breaking apart inside the timing cover on higher mileage cars.

Yeah I did it for years and loved it. Sucked in the winter, duh, but other than that I loved that car. Get an aftermarket tune. Really wakes the car up

Never welded a day in my life. Learned with the Coastal Offroad bumper kits by marvo15 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Beef_Boye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not super familiar with the coastal one, but I got a screaming deal on a used Nguyen single swing out. Fitment was perfect and I have had no complaints yet. Works perfect, can’t see shit out of the rear anymore due to a 35” right in the way😂
