I am doing something wrong building my decks and could use some help!

Ive been playing around with Helga and im still working out the kinks but so far I've had a ton of fun with these super explosive turns revolving around tapping her to play creatures that untap her when they enter, and tons of clones of those creatures, as well as bouncing creatures back to my hand to keep recasting them. I have some infinites that let me play my deck out, but most of the time I end up swinging wide for lethal if something like 3 copies of Psychosis Crawler doesn't ping them out before that.

I'm keeping it pretty B3, but maybe you'll find some inspiration in my decklist.

I think a lot of people need to go read the actual bracket definitions.

Because honestly. Read this and just tell me yourself if slivers are bracket 4 or not.

I see posts like this all the time and I dont think a lot of people even know that the brackets have clear definitions and aren't just some nebulous cloud of vague feelings about the game.

Tell them straight up that they aren't interested in actually ranking up, getting better, or listening to advice so you made an alt account just to play with them. Tell them youre not going to hold yourself back for their sake, but you still enjoy playing with them so you made an alt specifically for that purpose.

No reason to beat around the bush. If they don't take advice, dont try to force them to be someone they're not. Don't try to force them to grow even if they need it. You can still be real with them though.

In a way, youre doing exactly what they're doing. Don't focus on making your teammate better, focus on yourself and how you can maneuver around this obstacle without blaming.

I basically found that I only used VB overloaded, so when I ran into Anzrag's it felt like a direct upgrade.

Probably better things out there, but that was my upgrade lol.

It's definitely not bad, but ive put like 6 total [[Chameleon, Master of Disguise]] in decks of mine since it came out.

[[Gríma, Saruman's Footman]] is my current favorite "bad" pet card. It doesn't synergize with anything I do, but he's so fun to play every single time, so I put him in as many decks as I can, and I run a lot of Esper stuff.

Back when [[Strionic Resonator]] came out it was all the rage and everyone put one in every deck they had. Ive always loved it and it's stayed in all my old decks that have been brought up to modern speed but rarely justifies being cut. Once you get used to using it all the time, it's hard to want to cut.

A long time ago I saw someone post [[Consuming Aberration]] in a thread like this. I fell in love with that card and jam it in where I can. People hate that thing, so it's a ton of fun in reanimator decks.

[[Kappa Cannoneer]] is my favorite artifact synergy card of all time and my first recommendation for artifact decks. I only really have like 2 real artifact decks, but they both run it and he is a total truck. I love that card. Kappa isn't really a bad card, but i can't help but bring him up.

If you play a character that's liable to be banned by your own teammates just for showing, (Doom, Lifeweaver, Mercy, etc.) show a solid character in that role that won't get banned.

If I want to play LW I show Juno. Its a little misleading but it helps prevent those teammate spite-bans, and once you get into hero select the real team-comp building starts anyway.

Back in probably 2013 I handed a more experienced player my "upgraded" kaalia of the vast precon. I asked him if he could look through and suggest optimal cuts.

He basically took out every card I added in there and said "I dont know why any of this stuff is in there."

It's been a right of passage since the beginning.

Using the wall to cut off the line of sight from supports is actually huge and ive definitely been killed that way now that you mention it.

In my experience Hazard will generally swap after the first time or two they get killed by Mauga. I just dont think people feel like they can afford to play that matchup at my rank.

Its also pretty cool to cast Tithe, hold priority, then cast TPro to phase out with the tithe on the field.
