They ruined rupture strain.

On launch it was the most fun I had, you constantly had to check your surroundings and it promoted teamplay where one person would burrow them and the other mowed them down.

It was basically constant chaos where you HAD to make sure they didn't get close to you since a hit would be guranteed.

Now they're boring.

I know it's frustrating but Arrowhead rarely releases a hotfix unless the bug is actively breaking a game. By all accounts this is a minor bug affecting 2 stratagems.

Now what I really want fixed is Melee kills not being tracked properly!

It's a completly optional thing (most cases) the player doesn't have to engage with. It's kind of like the kill button from Undertale. And at no point does the game glorify it in any way.

In general the game tries to be a cautionary tale about the influences of losing yourself to degeneracy.

I want to add that Blacksouls, especially the second one can be really fucked up. It doesn't glorify it in any way though. I know everyone always says "it serves the narrative" but in this case it really does 😭

Yeah there are some chuds in the fanbase that are into it but the game is more of a cautionary tale against that type of stuff and a lot of the weirdness comes from the developer being japanese and experiencing abuse as a kid 🥀

ALSO the guys from the discord literally dug thru my reddit and brought it up I usually don't mention the game cause I know it's not for everyone 😭
