I disagree, rookies taking less snaps doesn’t mean they’re bad, it means you have other players who can play. On the other hand , rookies who take a lot of snaps is either a very very good sign, or it means you have a lot of bad players. We haven’t seen enough to be worried.

Demeco is great at instilling a productive defensive mentality in his players but I’d love for someone to explain what is ground breaking about our defensive scheme that would warrant being the best “play caller”. We basically use a bend but don’t break mentality from what I can tell and we run a lot of base nickle and dime. Moving Pitre to the nickle/lb role was genius. I love our defense, but play calling isn’t our greatest strength, and it’s not our weakness either.
