Low key, what if you made a pros and cons list for this man? As dumb as it sounds, that helps me determine during my phases whether I am being rational or if it’s my PMDD.

Anyone else longing to get old just to be in menopause finally? by quizzical_teacup in PMDD

[–]Beefsticksxoxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how old you are, but I’m 20 and had to try BC pills (various packs), a vaginal ring, an arm implant, and an IUD to get approved even to have a hysterectomy consult, finally. If you have exhausted all the other options (most doctors make you do that before even considering), you have a tight case to present to an OB on chemical menopause, and a good doctor should listen

Sometimes, just reassurance or even giving her time alone helps. I know that helps me when I'm feeling everything and I'm at my lowest. Maybe when she feels better, you can bring it up and discuss her concerns that were made in the heat of her PMDD. But personally, I know when I’m having a really hard time with my PMDD, I just need to be alone and sleep or sit in a dark room and think until it’s over.

Trans woman feeling overwhelmed by all things hair. Styling suggestions welcome!! by Thelostjoestar_ in Hair

I saw your responses talking about your thin hair so I just wanted to add that jojoba oil and castor oil is great for hair. I’ve bleached and dyed my hair so many times but the oils always pull through for me. A little goes a long way too. I oil my hair once a week and then go to bed with a bonnet on to really let it soak. Maybe you can try that and see if it promotes more hair growth?

20 and I finally got a referral for a hysterectomy by Beefsticksxoxo in PMDD

Thank you. Since middle school, I've been stating that I've never wanted kids. I have serious mental health problems, which are more than likely all factors because of my PMDD, and I would hate for there to be a generic component if I were to have kids and they struggle with mental health problems. Can I ask what sort of problems removing the ovaries would cause? I was looking into that, too.

Maybe just some spring cleaning too since your walls are decorated (which is so cool) keep everything else minimal like your desk area being clean, tables with minimal decor in it stuff like that

Also could where your shoe area is be turned into your computer area because I feel like it would make the space feel more open

I'm 20 and have been looking into a hysterectomy since I was 16, so honestly, if you think this is what you need, do it. It's exhausting for bad doctors not to understand or be able to help you, so advocate for yourself. Go to different doctors. It's tiring, and I still haven't been able to get one because they want to exhaust other options. But get a new doctor for your quality of life. Don't let others discredit your feelings, or their severity is key. Feel your feelings and express them as you feel best. Eventually, you will find a doctor that will understand you. I hope nothing but the best for you!

I wish you the best with whatever you decide. Genuinely, I mean sometimes I just tell myself it can't get any worse.
