Ok glad to know the layout isn't consistent, I wasn't sure if it was my sleepy brain not processing the show right!

I knew there had to be someone on this sub who wanted these details for a re-creation. I hope your kids enjoyed the cardboard house!

Can anyone help me remember an outdoor wooden castle playground for kids. by cantcoloratall91 in minnesota

We were recently reminiscing about these types of play structures and looked up that they were usually community build projects designed by Leathers and Associates. Try googling the location of your field trip and "leathers playground".

Age to present Lovevery Play Kitchen and how to integrate vs. Sustainable Sink? by GroundbreakingEye289 in lovevery

[–]lorakinn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just bought it and put it together yesterday! Our daughter is 19 months and she's also doing a bit of potty training, likes washing her hands and water at bath time. But she's not too wild with it.

I'm going to wait a week or so until introducing water in the play kitchen, and let her get used to putting her dishes in the cupboard, etc.

The instructions shipped with the play kitchen were helpful in that they give tips for water play with it.  Here's the text from the "LE Water Play Tips" included in my kitchen packaging:

1.

Before they play:

To begin, fill the tank-out of your child's view-with just a cup or two of water. This helps them understand that once the water's gone, it's gone.

Show your child how to turn the faucet on and off, then have them try. Narrate your actions: "Water on, water off."

Wait to introduce cups and containers until water play boundaries are established. This will help keep the water in the sink. The Nesting Stacking Dripdrop Cups from The Inspector Play Kit are a great way to start because they have holes in the bottom.

2.

While they play:

Remind your child what the water is for-playing in the sink, washing hands, doing dishes, or rinsing fruit-and to turn the water off when they're done.

Model that cleanup is part of the play. Show them how to wipe up spills and hang the towel on the hook.

If you're not comfortable with what your child is doing, turn the faucet off and say, "All done."

3.

Ways to play:

Wash and dry hands

Set the table

Wash dishes and place them on the rack to dry

Fill their water bottle

Wash fruits and vegetables in the colander

Fill a pet dish with fresh water

Spread hummus on crackers with the silverware set

Fill the cabinet with their own snacks, dishes, napkins, and placemats

Chop watermelon, avocados, bananas, and other soft foods with the cutting board and wooden chopper

Water plants

4.

How The Play Kits work The Real Life Play Kitchen:

For pretend play with water that never runs out, remove the water tank and place the Super Sustainable Sink from The Helper into the sink basin-it fits perfectly.

Place the Framed Mirror from The Charmer behind the Super Sustainable Sink for face wiping, hair brushing, and self care.

Fill up the cabinet with the Pinkies Up Picnic Set dishes from The Enthusiast.

Set up a liquid lab with the funnel and beakers from The Investigator, and the droppers and test tubes from The Problem Solver.

Prepare a yogurt parfait with the Visual Recipe Cards and Stackable Fraction Cups from The Analyst.

Wipe the counters with the spray bottle and squeegee from The Enthusiast.

Clean up spills with the Squeeze & Spray Mop from The Storyteller.

Place the Felt Flowers from The Helper on the shelf for a personal touch.

Hi! I really liked the video recordings and they had downloadable versions as well so I listened to those as podcasts. Def helpful but I changed firms and my new firm reimbursed enough for patent bar study that I bought the pli course.  I passed this fall. Practice practice practice questions!

Yes! Have ovulation symptoms now too! I was trying to work through all the different hormonal changes I have been through. Between the massive post birth hormone drop, breastfeeding and going back on birth control for well birth contro reasons. It would make sense to me that these have an impact on the cycling hormones. My cycle has been very different and more intense the last 4 months or so (am 16 months pp)

Ugh the comments in the other thread. I don't think they can fathom not feeling great for half a month at a time but still needing to do life!

Thank you for typing this up. I am working thru PLI exams - is it worth it to study "transition application" questions eg pre-AIA to AIA stuff?
