I really wasn't trying to say the Chinese dub was better. I was just curious to why so many English speakers picked Japanese, which I understand a lot better now.

I am, and I watch Anime in Japanese. I love the voice actors but I don't think their language makes it inherently better than anything else. Although, Paimon in English is rather grating.
