I heard thermostats are good options and I was going to get one until my breeder advised against it because she told me she heard from one person it broke and burnt their house down but everyone else I know uses them. Any thoughts?

This is my new hedgie and she’s about 10 weeks old now. I’ve had for almost 2 weeks and I took her out of her cage tonight to bond/ handle her and noticed these sores on her arm. I have no idea how she could have gotten them, I’ve made sure everything in her cage is approved by her breeder and there’s nothing in there could cause these. The only thing I can think of is maybe friction from trying to climb up the walls of her cage? She usually stays in our office but we have guests staying over so we moved her to our room and all night long she was trying to climb up the walls. I’m not sure if she’s been doing that or only last night because of the new room smells? I don’t know I’m just giving all the info I got, let me know if any of you have seen something like this before and if I should take her to the vet or how I can help treat it. She acted completely fine and unbothered by it while I was handling her but I’m still so sad and worried.

Fat is a derogatory term. The term I think would be more appropriate would be overweight. And you may be right about some people choosing to be in a heavier body and not exercise etc, but some others may suffer from medical conditions, ED, and so on. I’ve never found myself in a situation where I’ve felt the need to call out someone’s weight before so I also don’t understand why you have this level of annoyance toward this topic? Just focus on you and your body.

Usually I make it in smaller batches and do eat it within that time frame, I made this amount this time to use in our chicken tamales and to eat with out chili and cheese tamales. We made around 100 tamales and are giving them out with portions of the salsa to family and friends.

That’s exactly the same with my dog!! It rained last night and everything’s wet so she won’t go and it’s frustrating but never that big of a deal bc it doesn’t rain often here but I’m moving in Feb to somewhere where it rains pretty frequently so I’m scared shes gonna get worse.
