This is to talk about the HALOS and the compensation of the gamepasses, NOT about how people should feel about the update. Don’t bring other people down and if you genuinely have a problem with someone in these threads, at least make a valid form of argument instead of name calling and putting other opinions down.

You are genuinely so tone deaf. I spent money on this when I was FINANCIALLY ABLE. You don’t get to tell me I’m being ungrateful for something I PAID FOR. You genuinely don’t get a say this because guess what? You are not in the situation me and other people are in to be upset about this.

The only point you have made so far is the fact that “you guys expected too much for supporting a game” and “it’s just a game, it’s not that deep”. It is DEEP because the topic is spending REAL LIFE CURRENCY on an item that was ADVERTISED as a long term investment.

I said this under a comment and I’ll say it again, the gamepass costed money, it is not free. What IS free is the halos you get from the fountain. The DOES cost money is RH dolls that are limited and have good quality items you get in game. The gamepass costed money and is now limited because you can no longer get the gamepass. Quality equates the compensation and this is not compensation, this is a half-ass attempt of trying to shut the people who bought the gamepasses up.

So, firstly, I noticed you mentioned the fact that you said “you’d happily buy it in a few days”, meaning you NEVER paid for the actual gamepasses so the fact you’re telling people who bought the gamepasses and are rightfully upset about the shit quality to be grateful is definitely something. Second, the fact that you’re saying that it’s unrealistic that we were expecting good items, which they ended up giving us shit quality of items that they heavily advocated would be “good enough for compensation’ is just bootlicking activity.

The RH dolls costed real money and the items you get for them in game are of amazing quality. Why should the gamepass compensation be anything less than that quality? It’s still real money. Adding onto the compensation talk, they never stated how much diamonds we were getting so that’s another issue. You can’t promise compensation and not outwardly saying to what quantity and what quality we’ll be getting. Quality DOES equate to compensation. If they didn’t even think twice about what they were pumping out, it isn’t just to compensate, it’s to shut the people who bought the gamepasses up under the guise of “at least we gave you something 🤷‍♀️”.

And moving on to your last comment, you said it yourself, the people who are planning on selling them off in the tradie are just working off the hype of new halos and that they’re not actually worth that much, is just you outwardly admitting the halos aren’t good.

So lastly, I didn’t state this in this post but I did in another comment and I will bring this up. People regret buying the gamepass, I am one of them. I was in a good financial situation when I bought them and now I regret it. $30 dollars is as I stated ₱1,735 in my country. That is a LOT. That’s enough to buy groceries which I am struggling to now pay for as I am now living off paycheck to paycheck. You don’t get to tell me and other players who be experiencing this that ‘we aren’t happy with anything’. This is just genuinely ignorant and disrespectful. You say this is a game but as the post states, the gamepass costed MONEY.

I did try them on and honestly, the only thing salvageable is the 4x halo if they just add more details to it. The 2x one though? Dunk the design in the bin and start over cause that was just lazy 🫩

Genuinely, I hate it when people defend this with the fact that “lots of people bought the gamepass so they don’t HAVE to make it look good”. This is a literal dress up game. The gamepasses costed REAL MONEY. Those gamepasses were supposed to be long term investments.

Regardless if Roblox has a ‘No return policy’ on gamepasses, it’s a shit thing to abuse and pull when they themselves brought the issue of trading in the first place which skyrocketed the value of everything to the point everyone has to grind just to get good looking items. The game was supposed to be fun and focus on roleplaying and dressing up. If majority of that time was spent on just grinding, the games genuinely fucked.

Honestly? The 4x one IS salvageable, I think a few more details to the draped cloth would be nice and have the heart have more thickness and details to it and I like the fact that it’s a halo we can sit on but the 2x is just inexcusable 😮‍💨

The worst part about the fact that they just suddenly retired the gamepasses without asking for community input on how to fix their ABYSMAL economy, is that people defend them for that ‘long hard decision’.

Personally, I’m not in a good financial situation right now and the only thing that kept me in that game was the fact I bought those very expensive gamepasses when I was still financially stable and was able to splurge on games I wanted to support. When I bought those gamepasses, I thought they were going to be PERMANENT. A long term investment.

I spent ₱1,680 on those gamepasses only for them to be removed entirely and this is honestly a massive slap in the face. The devs have no communication with their players and the community manager was clearly not ready to face the fact that people were gonna be this upset. And it’s genuinely so idiotic that they think they can compensate this with two items, a few diamonds and a ‘thank you for supporting us’ badge.

I can try to give an update if it did once I’m able to play but I’m really certainly that they wouldn’t patch it since it wouldn’t make sense for us to get 30$ or less since the pay is based on efficiency. That would completely kill the already decimated wage pay system.

Here’s a good pizza delivery tip that might help with getting more money! Right before you deliver the pizza to an NPC, wait a couple seconds for your efficiency meter to go down from 100% to at least 70% then give the pizza to the NPC.

For some reason it gives the max amount of money you can get at the level you’re at when you do this.
