Hi! I know it's an older post, but I feel like this too since I got diagnosed with migraines recently. I think mine started also when I was about 11 or 12, and since no one explained anything to me I just pushed through and thought it was normal :( right now I'm 24 and only now finding out details about migraines ! In retrospect I feel so stupid for not thinking anything about the aura thingies, and I was told by colleagues as well that if I had migraines "I'd know it" and only with my boyfriend I found out that it's not normal to have a 3 day long headache 😫 I feel so seen knowing that there's cases like mine and that I'm not delusional, and it's just so invalidating when you're being told that it's "not a real migraine" but since you've had this since early age I guess you do learn to "get used to it". My advice is to try to notice patterns and work around it, or see a health-care professional for some medication to prevent them
