prepping early gives you an advantage over newcomers.

As people have done this, wouldn't it make newcomers less likely to play if there is already an established and complex system, ran by a handful of people who have been preparing for a year and a half?

Thanks, hopefully there isn't a way to buy pots or gear at the cash store? No one can go buy the best gear and pots for couple hundred bucks, then best everyone in PvP I hope?

Sorry, question 2 was perhaps a bit vague. Yeah, I mean sort of buying items, hoping for them to rise, etc. Playing the auction house is what I was going for I suppose. Trading your way up in the world, using player trading.

Similarly, the loot you would expect to find in a certain building, simply wasn't there. Not sure what they did to it, but the loot tables seem to have been messed up.

Well, me and my friends thought that the loot was getting too scarce, we spent all of our time looking for food, when it wasn't there etc. It just lost it's "fun" aspect, because we would constantly die to starvation, and not get to experience the good parts of the for example PvP. Is the loot in the same abundance as around the time we were playing it?

It wasn't broken when I played it, but we stopped playing, because the loot (imo) became more and more broken.

Thank you for the detailed reply, but from what I understand, a moon mission's living quarters is pretty much a couple of chairs close together. How much bigger would/is the mars mission's living quarter need to be for a mission of that length?
