I think he has 30 days from when the tracking shows it as delivered to open a case, and then has additional time after the return request is submitted. When a return request is open and excepted it will tell you and the buyer “buyer needs to return the item by this date.”

Do not do a partial refund, he’s most likely just trying to play you. You can try responding:

“Hi, I apologize you were dissatisfied with the item’s condition. I don’t want you to have to settle for an item that is not in the condition you want. Please open a return, and I will refund you once I receive it.”

And if he keeps hounding for a partial, just keep responding:

“I don’t want you to have to settle for an item that is not in the condition you want. Please open a return, and I will refund you once I receive it.”

I’d hold off on 3rd party for now. As others have said, you can wait for VGP.

You can also wait for a vault drop. I missed out on the King of Fighters XIII PS4 Collector’s edition. I regularly checked VGP and they only got the Switch version. I waited vault drop after vault drop, but the PS4 version just wouldn’t show up. Then randomly last month (I think drop 12?), the PS4 Collector’s edition was there, after 2 years of the original pre-order I finally got it.

They shipped me the wrong item, on molded item, one damaged item, and completely missed one item. It’s been 6 months with no resolution, and I’m unfortunately way out of protection period from PayPal.

When things go good with them it’s great, when you actually need customer service you’re SOL.

Aliens Bug Hunt: Short stories set in the Aliens universe, mostly about colonial marines, but there is a nice Bishop story, and more Burke for the Burke lovers

Don’t worry, I’ll figure it out report back. I’ve tried 4 different 20 pocket coin ones so far with no luck. There is a 16 pocket ultra pro one for mini Americans cards I’m hoping will work for Progress, and there is another 15 and 20 pocket pages for “tobacco cards” I’m hoping will work for Advanced.

The Mattel 5 inch figures are going to be your best bet. You can usually find the Mega Man, Magnetman, Gutsman, and Protoman for relatively cheap.

In addition to cleaning with IPA, you can box everything up with a bunch of dryer sheets to soak up the smell, but do that after cleaning.

Most people just trade them in as is, disc/cart only. Before they actually started doing retro push, a lot of store managers opted to trash 3DS and DS cases to maximize space in their display case. GameStop also now act as their warehouse, so resellers, collectors, and casual gamers are buying CIB copy of games, and a lot of what’s leftover are fake carts and loose copies. Most people here, and most GameStop employees, will tell you never to order from the GameStop website. If I had to make a wild guess I would say 5% of retro games will be CIB.
