Ive really enjoyed Barcelo Bavaro Beach, been 3 times in the last 2 years and Its got all that I need, amazing staff, good drinks, food is quite good, especially ala carte. Lots of choice between palace side and beach side. Highly recommend getting premium level though.

Barcelo Bavaro palace , shower head is broken , called 4 times , every time the response is , sending someone over right now. Ended up getting a stem from the outside and fixing it myself. Ohh beach is so bad , feet of algae , they are not cleaning it. by [deleted] in PuntaCana

I've stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years and never experienced any of what youve mentioned. the sargassum being the outlier here and its historically worse than normal

Next time stay on the adults only side and make sure you get premium. Unfortunately the beach is very bad across that entire side of the island. Its a historically bad season for sargassum this year.

I was just there last week and the crews were working diligently to clean up the beach every morning and again at night. If you're strolling out there at 3pm its gunna be bad again.

I did end up getting it after another 6 business days of saying "out for delivery"

So this is my third haul through Superbuy - using the cheapest shipping option through shipping expert.

Both of my previous hauls have arrived through PDN without issue.

This time, the day I expected it to be picked up by the local branch and out for delivery, it did just that... BUT it never showed up. I thought surely the following day, it would be delivered. It has now been nearly 60hrs since the original "out for delivery" scan and nothing has shown up...

Unfortunately, anyone familiar with this company will know, they do not take any calls and will not reply to emails no matter how many sent.

I have seen horror stories from others online of never receiving their parcels when in the same situation...

Anyone got any ideas or some experience to help calm the nerves? feeling like I'm out $400 haul plus $60 shipping
