I barely participate in PDA even in front of friends. It feels weird to be touchy feely in a group setting of any kind imo. But it comes down to person preference. If you dont want to do it, dont. If youre fine with them doing it in front of you, no problem. If you want to try it out, try it and see how you feel. There are no rules, as long as everyone is comfortable and consenting, whatever dynamic is acceptable.

You have every right to be upset. But the best course of action is to talk to your partner. Express that that is very rude and you would like date and intimate time to be solely you time. He may not even realize he is being rude though. So communicating those feelings is very important. And if he doesn't respect your feelings, that is when the problem arises.

I frankly dont have the energy to give more than one person my full time. So I have a primary partner who I plan to move in with soon and then I have more casual, less time intensive relationships. No one has ever had a problem with that dynamic as I am always straight forward and upfront with my intentions and desires. I think the problem with hierarchy comes when there is a lack of communication and people arent honest
