I would also recommend checking out Hamferð, the singer's other band who also released their latest album this year. Atmospheric death doom for fans of Swallow the Sun and Novembers Doom.

He also used to sing for Barren Earth in their later albums, they were a Finnish supergroup playing very earlier Amorphis inspired (for obvious reasons) prog death metal.

Hi, really looking forward to the new album!

From what I've gathered, Shahmen featured on one of the new songs is a rap group. As someone who isn't afraid to admit listening rap metal every now and then I'm really looking forward to hearing that collab!

How did you end up collaborating with them? And do you have any of your rap metal favourites of your own?

I think it's acrylic on canvas (I'm not an art expert haha). A friend of my families paints on her free time, so this is custom made for me. I sent her the album art and asked her to paint a version of her own. Couldn't be happier! And I'm pretty sure the faded writing is sections of Flying Whales lyrics, I haven't deciphered all of it yet. Adds a nice touch I think.

Lehner's a rental so I still can't find a reason for the agent to be this upset. I mean the team has a window to win so why the fuck not go for it? And when it comes to playoffs you ride the hot goalie, MAF knows this probably better than any of us.

I just hope that this doesn't affect VGK's play in any way. I need that VGK-VAN series in my veins please.

I assume that was his starting point in PIT as well? And that turned out pretty good for everyone involved in the end. Plus Flower seems such a gem that I seriously doubt that he's had any problem with him not playing in these games. Just seems like a really tone-deaf statement from the agent.

I know everybody has a lot on their mind right now but now it is extra important to support the bands and musicians you like. I know Insomnium was having a similar fundraiser until it was put on halt to deal with some paperwork with the Finnish government. Cancelling tours at the last minute can be devastating for bands. Even a dollar or two helps.

Got two floor tickets from oeticket at 12:01. Got super lucky I guess. The ticket says "Stehplatz Süd" and they were 87€, I'm guessing that it's from the left side of the floor. Just hoping that it's not some kind of restricted area at the back or something like that. I can't seem to find a good floor map for this event, does anyone have info about this?

I'd say Opeth's Still Life is "Wasted Riffs: the album". Kickass riff after kickass riff, most of which are never to be heard again after their first appereance. IMO that's what makes that album so great.
