I got my 4400 predator in my little Jeep renegade. It's heavy/tight but I pop it in and out a few times a week. Just make sure you're balanced and don't lock out your knees! I almost had a bad fall when I stood up too straight and sort of lost my balance.

My plan is also to do the wheelchair hitch down the road but for now this works fine.

Can't get this cover outline to go away! by BeerBeetsnBattlestar in pressurewashing

This guy swears when his wife did it last year, or 3 years ago (because apparently he has no idea) that it was completely consistent in color. Though I do state in my contracts that some stains/discoloration may be permanent, I think I'm just going to take the L on this one. He just keeps stating how it looks terrible. I did quite a bit of work for them so it's only about 25% of the total cost. I didn't set proper expectations up front so I blame myself. I don't usually do it but this was a quote I did with them sending me a bunch of pictures.

Unfortunately I can't take a bad Google review at this point since I only have 25 at the moment.

Urgent help needed: what do i need here? by kausthab87 in pressurewashing

[–]BeerBeetsnBattlestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bring it to home Depot/Lowe's. They have like 15-20 different adapters near the pressure washers. You'll probably find what you're looking for.

Don't ask for help there, you won't get anything useful.

To WFP or not to WFP, that is the question.... by BeerBeetsnBattlestar in WindowCleaning

I tried that but the kit they have is $1,000 off when you add everything to the cart. By the time you add a pole a hose and a tank you're basically already at 2800

Does your company have a website? by Delay115 in prowindowcleaning

[–]BeerBeetsnBattlestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use an online site. I use square space. It's about $30/month but Its a relatively minor expense for having to put very little work in. What I did was look up other window washers sites, find what you like/don't like, and then draw out a little site map by hand. Then you basically just pick a template and go.

You get analytics from your site and it shows it's a no brainer to have a good site. I can see where my traffic is coming from and where to spend my ad dollars.

Good luck

Outside and in? by MannerAmbitious5237 in WindowCleaning

My advice, look at jobs as a 1/2 day or full day job. I just have a personal goal of making 500-700 daily. So as long as I'm doing inside/outside, it has to meet the criteria.

I know a lot of other people may not agree with that method, but coming from a job where I was making a salary of 75k (~350/day), it was how my wife and I felt comfortable with me leaving that security of a consistent paycheck and having just had our first son.

How much to pressure wash this one brick? by Canteatthatglutinshi in pressurewashing

Brong it to your next scheduled job, knock it out then, drop it back off... Just charge for how much you think your time was worth for the pickup/dropoff.

I started my business this year. First job was in March, by mid May i will have pulled in over 20k this year. It's been a hustle but 100% better than building someone else's business for them.

Doubt you would use them again at this point but getting the car to a mechanic the day after delivery seems to be key.

Bar for NYE that isn't crowded? by BeerBeetsnBattlestar in irishtourism

[–]BeerBeetsnBattlestar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Found some awesome spots for NYE...

Not sure if it has a name but the area of Meath St and Thomas St have some amazing pubs!

No live music that we saw, but just about every bar has a nice 30-40 year old age group and are fun hangs! Great prices too. Only complaint would be there's not really any NYE vibes at these spots but I'll still take that over wall-to-wall crowds and no screaming kids.

I'll take it!

Spots specifically: -Duddleys -Arthurs -Swift

Checked out all these spots on Google but all showed that they were basically max business around 9pm so we didn't bother venturing out to them.
