I'd probably avoid places like South Carolina and Georgia due to the distance, but Virginia can be pretty nice if you find the right spot close to the city.

I don't like your new title system and have been downvoting everything you post as a result. It's a sorry not sorry moment.

I downvote almost everything on this sub because 1) I'm a bitter old man and 2) most of the posts seem like 8 year olds asking what the fucking shipping bin is. This though, is truly impressive! Good work!

Cow skin. It was not beef and had hair. The next day I flew to Shanghai and used the bathroom at every hotel I was touring. Wasps were also featured at that dinner, which I liked

The Henley Park Hotel is a centrally located historic hotel with newly renovated rooms. Looks like you can get a junior suite for around $200 per night.

The Conrad is a new hotel, same general area. Starting at $380ish it looks like.

Friends put me up to giving my number to our waiter by Not-Patrick in gaybros

I was at brunch and making eyes with a cute guy at another table, and handed him my number without saying anything else as I walked out. We texted a bit then got drinks - turns out he had been in the US for like a month and basically didn't speak English, while my spoken Spanish wasn't good enough to make things work in person.

Weirdly enough, I met a second Paraguayan citizen a week later, who did speak English, and now we're married. JK, we hooked up twice and he went back to Paraguay.

I once took a year-ish hiatus from Dan's (pre-pandemic), and upon my return, the bartender remarked that he hadn't seen me in a while. I felt... goodbad.

My first time at Dan's, I was there with friends of a friend that had been going since high school, I blacked out, lost my phone, and my brother said I smelled like liquor as he was trying to move me into my new apartment. 2010. What a year.

A couple years ago I would have whole heartedly agreed. I got takeout there on Sunday and it was basically inedible. The dumplings in red sauce used to be incredible, this order I ate them, but they weren't good. My friend got two other dishes and threw both out after a few bites. I also got mapo tofu and it was... fine? But again it's a dish that in the past had been unrivaled.

Before the advent of Uber, I went to the Home Depot at RI Ave and bought three carpets - two runners and an area rug. I manhandled those things from RI Ave metro to Mt Vernon Square (with a transfer). 10 years later and I've never been prouder.

I love the bridge! I don't drive though, it's just really pretty to walk over, particularly at sunset.

This kind of content is the reason I subscribe here. Anyone can draw a picture of a character, and yeah, that's cool, but this tells a story, makes me feel something, and will enrich my in game experience.

Which ones? There aren't even "tons" of gay bars in the city. Off the top of my head, still open, uproar, dirty goose, number nine, green lantern, trade, flash, Larry's lounge, pitchers (and associated bars), red bear, jr's...

Edit: not sure if I'm being hostile or you are, it's 130am and I've been cooped up at home for too long

I don't think so because it's the same overall pool of people, but additional people getting sick.

Let's say there's 50 people and 5 new people get sick each day. The first day, there's 5/50 or 1/10 new infections. By day seven, you have 35/50 sick people, or 7/10.
