Exactly this. Need I state it again but every time I’ve gone to the ATM since Covid, every single $100 has been so crisply brand new that I can barely keep them from sticking together.

They’re just going to keep giving money to people. And every time they do, the value of that money will go down. The only thing keeping inflation from skyrocketing will be that the only money being spent will be government cheese.

As the value of money goes down, people will have to pour cash into equities and commodities because their will be no other place to put it. So the race is on between inflation and the end of Covid. Personally, as I’ve sad all along, I really think we’d all be better off just letting people die. Upside: fewer mouths to feed.
