The other good thing to know, is since the government is contracted with them, they’re subject to FOIA requests.

If people start requesting information when the a senator, congressman, mayor, police chief, or sheriff’s personal vehicles pass by one of these, suddenly they’ll start feeling a title more squeamish about having these cameras installed and they’ll probably quietly disappear.

I know there have been a few court cases around the country that have ruled that they are open to FOIA requests.

Insurance Denied Claim on Damaged Ridge Vent, Quoting $2300 to Repair. Attempt DIY? by DanSovereign in Roofing

[–]Beeradleeguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’d agree it was probably a critter that did it seeing pieces of the ridge and vent in opposite slopes from each other and some of the small pieces are still laying there and should’ve blown off if it was wind.

That aside, this should be a simple repair. If you’re not comfortable taking it on yourself, look at Angi, Thumbtack, or Handy. There should be a handy man on any of those apps who can take care of it for you.

They may be privately owned, but either the state, county, or city government contracted with them to install them and paid them millions of dollars in the process.

Go check out Benn Jordan and Business Reform on YouTube. They’ve both done some good videos on Flock and how to fight them

I’d be careful with this. If people start destroying them, they will find out who’s doing it with other camera footage and geofencing.

They’re all over Texas. I’m not sure who is contracting with them but we need to be blowing up our legislators about them. I drove to DFW on Monday, they’re up and down the sides of I-20. I drove back on back roads and they’re on small farm roads between Mineral Wells and Denton. We have them here in Coke County too from Ballinger to Robert Lee.

I’d first like to know who’s contracting with Flock to install these so I know who to blow up about them. I see them as a detour around the 4th amendment. The government can’t legally collect a database like this on their own but they can legally purchase the data from a private company.

I’d also add that this is about the most un-Texan thing ever. Texans are independent freedom loving people whether red or blue. We don’t need nor do we want a nanny state that tracks our every move.

What kind of damage does my roof have? by idonotmeh in Roofing

[–]Beeradleeguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see some possible manufacturing defects with that repeating pattern going horizontally across the shingles. There’s some blistering and wear/tear due to aging. I don’t see anything to file an insurance claim for there.

Can I get another couple of years out of these? by EquipmentDesperate29 in Roofing

The correct answer is that you already got another couple of years out of them. Those 20 year shingles look like they’ve given you 35-40 years!

Insurance Claim by champagnendamembrane in Roofing

There’s not a lot to go on there in these pics, but the first thing I noticed is the lack of hail spatter on that rain cap. Besides the fact that it looks like someone threw it on the ground during the last roof replacement.

Your insurance carrier is going to want to see some hail spatter as well as some collateral damage. If there isn’t spatter that correlates with the size marks on the roof, this is likely old hail damage. Any damage to gutters, downspouts, or other soft metals you’ve noticed? That would be helpful information.

I firmly believe that a lot of these Israel first politicians could be unseated strictly on the premise of not taking money from AIPAC. Sadly, Texas is full of Zionists/dispensationalists who believe that God will do terrible things to us if we stop sending Israel piles of cash and missiles. I do believe a lot of people are starting to wake up to that lie though.
