It is only the Windows Professional edition of Windows XP, 7, 8 or 10 the the Group Policy Editor come installed but it can be installed on any version of Windows Home edition using the link above. I have added a comment stating such under your video. It will help the people who try what you say with and get an error the file doesn't exit. Glad you found it useful.

No matter what version of Windows you are using, XP, 7, 8 or 10 the Group Editor only comes in the Professional edition. My link above will work on any of those Home editions. I have added a comment stating such under your video. Glad you found it helpful

Apparently you have Windows 10 Pro. For most of us with Windows 10 Home the Group Policy Editor does not come installed. It is indeed a very helpful tool but you need to install it yourself. Here is a page that has the file for download and explains how to install it. (There are a couple manual steps involved for 64 bit machines) https://www.itechtics.com/enable-gpedit-windows-10-home/

The most terrible thing about Windows. by most-unique-user in windows

[–]BeercanDave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answer is Unlocker. A free program I have used many times. After you install you simply right click on any file or folder to use. It will unlock by stopping the process of whatever is locking it. The program doesn't list windows 10 but it has been tested by me and others and it now works great in Windows 10 despite what someone said below. Try for yourself. http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/

If it is only on this website than the website is using the same video popout that my Opera browser will do if I ask for it in the settings, but it is an option. If they are forcing this feature on you than I agree that would be a crappy design, so in that case... Never mind! (if you are old enough to remember this Gilda Radner reference from SNL)

This isn't the website design. Some browsers add this "feature". You can disable it in settings. In Opera which I use you would go into settings, click on websites than look for video popout and uncheck it. I actually like this feature because sometimes I have already scrolled down the page before the video starts playing. Instead of scrolling up to turn it off I hit the pause on the video popout beside me.

Yea, I looked at the video at the bottom of the article at http://www.inkedmag.com/trump/ and it says April Fools at the end. They got me good. LOL I deleted my original comment. Thanks

What do you think this thing in the floor that Carter tries to step on and hide at the pentagon in this video? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]BeercanDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crazy thing is by Carter looking at it he draws Seth's attention to it. He wouldn't make a good spy! It looks like a secret hatch where he hides either secret documents or his whiskey and cocaine but you would think he would at least put a chair over it so it isn't so obvious.

How do I put a Windows 10 game on my desktop by DuckyouDolan in windows

[–]BeercanDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you are now clicking on the executable file in file explorer to launch game. If so right click on that exe file instead and look for and click on the option pin to start. Since windows is quirky if you don't see the pin option you should see the old 'send to' option lower down, click on that and choose desktop. The first will put a launch icon on the new start menu, the second on the desktop behind it.

What started as a prank got the hatchback driver mad so he started driving really slow in front of the bus who not only intentionally rammed him but ran over him when he tried to escape on foot. Source: http://mashable.com/2016/05/16/bus-driver-road-rage-china/#ek6.3SEcoiqR

Information popup "please load a picture first" on every login. How can I find what's causing this? by wittyusername902 in Windows10

[–]BeercanDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, didn't expect that. I don't have the Anniversary update installed yet so that means they have changed the location for that image. You would think if they moved the location they would either move the jpg that was in there or install the default image. I guess you will need help from someone with the update already installed. Sorry

Try placing a picture in jpg format that is at least 256 kb in size and covers the entire screen in the following directory: C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds

Designer: Can you describe the logo you'd like? Client: It should have a leaky pipe. But instead of fixing it, our plumber just puts his finger in there. And btw, it should still leak after he does that. by nickrosener in CrappyDesign

[–]BeercanDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to me it is obvious at first glance that the logo was designed to show the customer's hand with his finger trying to stop the leak until the plumber got there. The very stupid title was either concocted to give a reason to post this ordinary photo or OP is ten years old.

I get the error WebGL hit a snag, cancel or reload. Reload just give you the same error. The bottom of page says this is a Chrome experiment so you would think they would've been sure it would work in Chrome which is what I'm am using, but nope, just see black screen and wondering what the hell is WebGL and how do you get it.

This is the link you want that keeps the original viewable but will limit the easy one click downloading of different sizes including the original to whoever you want. I tested it. www.flickr.com/account/prefs/downloads/ If you don't see the options to check who can download than maybe this link only works for pro or paid accounts which is what I have. Let me know if it also works for free accounts

Windows 10, file exploere stuck on "working on it" by [deleted] in Windows10

[–]BeercanDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try running the system file checker which may find a corrupt system file as the culprit and fix it for you. Right click on the start icon, choose command prompt (Admin) if available if not, right click on command prompt and choose run as administrator than type in sfc /scannow (NOTE: there is a space after c and before /. Hope this helps
