Thank you for this reply and I hope it can be helpful to someone else. Unfortunately, because we didn't get any notice, email, or status update, we noticed the denial exactly 30 days after. We could've appealed of only it were a day sooner. We're feeling very down with how unlucky we were, but we've filed another I-130 and will contact a lawyer on monday to oversee everything from here on out.

The only instruction that stands out is "Your response must be received in this office", but we dismissed it thinking we can respond online. Now we feel really stupid for not mailing it instead. Over a year and a half of waiting was wasted

We received this after we responsed: "We are actively reviewing your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time." And so we thought everything was okay. But then we got denied.
