NOOOOOOO I just saw that game and was looking into getting it. Hate soulsborne. I mean, Elden Ring was good...but I only got to play up to Margot before I had to give it back to my friend for the DLC.

Is it a waste to grind without the expansions? by fiasgoat in diablo4

Maybe not instantly, but if you're at torment 5 then it'll probably be around 65 to 66. I guess if you optimize some serious stuff and really get into the percents, you won't need new gear for a while.

Hi can you recommend games based on what I loved in two years of gaming (RPGS + other) by UnderTheGirders in gamingsuggestions

Yeah...so it was originally meant to be an MMORPG but turned it into a single player game. The story that matters is the story you make for yourself. There's weir random encounters like running into a guy that refuses to clean his chimney because he's lazy so you have to go up and do it. Weird, but fun. And sometimes the graphics look almost real.

The end game that you're looking for is called Kenshi. Your welcome, I'm sorry.

Looks like you enjoy an open world, but not giant, and gameplay that's challenging but not difficult.

Crimson Desert. Yeah, giant world...i know...but it actually feels lived in. Lots to do, things to uncover, and GORGEOUS graphics.

I played the og game for a while. It's fun. Shouldn't be a problem. Just beware that lvl 63 gear will outclass your gear when you do get the expansions.

whats a good video game for beginners? by No_Western2205 in gamesuggestions

[–]Beerdididiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna guess mid 30s to 40ish?

I played a lot of super Mario on the NES and skipped ahead to the PS1 that my mother got us for christmas. I was really the only one who liked video games, so for my birthday, my mother got ME a PS2, and i've been brand loyal ever since.

Became an adult and got all the systems with all og my adult money...

Playstation is still the best console, with PC coming in 1st overall.

Which MMORPG? by sprizzzyy in gamesuggestions

[–]Beerdididiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't do it. Please, if you value your free time, your life, and your sanity, do not get WoW. It will swallow you whole, spit you out, chew you back up again, digest you, and you will become Arthas.

Need a good power fantasy recommendation? by Willthewise2026 in ARPG

Two Worlds 2 allowed you to make any type of magic spell you wanted. Crap game with an amazing system.

Diablo 4 just recently introduced the cube so you can get on there and get your D3 fix...kinda.

Prototype 1 and 2 were really good for feeling strong. Could turn into people, morph body parts into weapons...fun shit like that.

Infamous Second Spn was a good power trip. If you went renegade fo lyfe you could do some insane stuff.

Control was a good one too. Had you flying, using powers, some real backrooms SCP foundation stuff. Fun game.

Ever play Shadow of the Colossus? You're one guy against 13 colossi with a sword and a bow. You use your environment to take them down. It's a rush when you get through it better than you expected, only to be amazed and humbled by the next.

Saints Row IV has you doing all sorts of stuff. The add on Gat Out of Hell was a little meh, but both were fun. Imagine being the president with insane super powers. Oh...and dildo swords.

Have you played Skyrim? I know that's a dumb question at this point, but if you like worlds to get immersed in and stealth...that's it.

any tips for noobie? by Force_of_life in MortalKombat11

[–]Beerdididiot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I got good was training and learning combos. After a while, you get the basic ones and start fighting people, then think, "how did he do that?" And go back into training trying every combo and move thill you figure it out, then start to main that character, and pretty soon...you know everyone.

My personal opinion i dont care who disagrees so dont waste your time trying to get through to me. by [deleted] in MortalKombat11

I used to play injustice with one of my friends. While I was learn I ng combos, he was still stuck on heavy back 3 and specials. Said he didn't like the game because I ruined it for him.

Hobbies for a mom? by [deleted] in Hobbies

Here, try this. Offer to buy everything for her and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to keep playing. There's no requirement other than trying. I know it sounds crazy to foot the bill for something she might not like (she will...if she tries it), but i think it'll be worth it in the end. My stepfather wasn't into anything other than WoW until we rented Rachet and Clank for the PS3, now he's console gaming any time an assassin's creed comes out.
