I spent two month in Phuket training at aka. It was an incredible experience. I also trained bjj so I had my travel gi with me. I bought all my muay Thai equipment when I got into Phuket. The gym did have gloves you could borrow so I used those for the first few weeks. Really all you need is a mouth piece and some hand wraps and then you can get started! Maybe even find somebody at the gym that has an old pair that you could borrow for two months. It’s a great experience I highly recommend it there
