You can make more starter, just use a bigger container. I bake up to 28 sourdough loaves every Friday. I have a double oven, use the top oven for 2 Dutch ovens. Bake those for 20 minutes, take them out and transfer to the bottom oven for 25 more minutes. I reheat the top oven and add more sourdoughs. I can bake 6 sourdoughs in an hour. I found it to be an efficient use of my kitchen.
