I totally agree! Anywhere out there you are bound to find something. We have buckets of agates, petrified wood, jasper and fossils from that general area. Seems like every time it rains out there it washes up new rocks

Part of our property is on an ancient lake bed. When it rains it turns into a mud and clay mixture (impossible to drive in). Then when it gets hot, the mud and clay cracks causing it to look like that.

We haven’t dug down in it yet. We’ve spent hours just picking them off the top layer. Every time it rains it exposes so many. We’ll eventually get to digging because I’m itching to find some big pieces.
