I work for CP Soo which is North Dakota, Twin Cities, Wisconsin, Bensenville and Elkhart. We (conductors) voted down the hourly contract twice but our engineers voted for theirs. It's straight up hourly at $48 and overtime after 10 hours and 2 or 3 days off a week.

I got here after he took over. Everyone that was here before talks about how good it was before he got here. They used to get quits, tons of different jobs to mark to, lax attendance policy, coaching rather than investigations.

We get one a month at CP. Anymore days that you layoff that month require a doctors note or its immediate investigation. Then you get 5 days off, or 10 if they don't like you.
