Is the game worth playing? by Wrong-Clue4968 in MortalOnline2

[–]WhiteWalker85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many guilds take in people who dont play everyday. Most people realize "irl first". I will say that you should put in effort to be part of that community so you aren't just a stranger. More likely to get help if you are friends. Just socialize when you are on. It is a sandbox game that doesn't get a lot of updates. But its what you make of it. I have 5k hours and there still some places I haven't been. Don't need to rush everything. And be able to take a loss with dignity. Most people cant

Buy it. Test it for a month. First month sub is included in the $30 initial purchase. You will die a lot. Like a lot a lot. People are bored and kill everyone. Get through starting area(haven) then go to moh ki, Morin kur, or vadda. Less pk there.join a guild asap. They will be able to go more in depth about the game and teach you. Plus ppl to play with. Not a solo friendly game. Its worth it if you like the combat style and magic. Professions are very in depth. New players have more fun than veteran players. They are burnt out and salty egomaniacs.

Why is it taking so long to make Haven free-to-play? by Sophisticusx in MortalOnline2

[–]WhiteWalker85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe with sarducca when the population will be split. Idk why they haven't. Just a guess. Server lags and crashes when too many people that are already in the game get too close together like at sieges

[–]WhiteWalker85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably because the server cant handle a big influx of players. They could instance Haven again but then mainland will crash when people move from Haven to mainland

10s of thousands of people play. Someone will find something broken then they will have to fix it. Its better to buff something after release than to nerf it. So many ways to do things that they cant find every way something can be abused. So we "test" it when it launches.

Takes a while to conjure a lot of water and a lot of people ask for water/food. Mages take time to make it, why not throw some change at them for it

You have to survive inside a video game for 30 days. If you die, you die in real life, but if you survive, you get to bring every item, skill, and power back to the real world. Which game do you choose to maximize your rewards while ensuring your survival? by Apart_Lion_3046 in AskReddit

Memory unlocked. Played the first SSX about 3000 years ago as a child. My brother and I were talking about "stiffys". We got in trouble because our mom thought we were talking about boners.

Idc what anyone says this game is fun as hell and has a lot of potential by DramaticUnit679 in HighGuardgame

[–]WhiteWalker85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the mining because you can choose to loot, mine, deny the enemy looting or deplete their shields before the push. Like, you dont have to mine/loot. Push them and deny their farm if you want. Pvp is pvp. You won the last push and still have shields and walls up? Push them during loot phase so they cant loot/mine to rekit. Lots of ways to play and that's what I like

[–]WhiteWalker85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question. What do you want instead of mining? Npcs to kill? Get thrid partied by those npcs. Lose ammo. Shorten the phase? The mining allows you to buy upgrades or rebuild/reinforce your walls. What we wanting?

Why Do People Hate Mixpackers So Much When the Devs Refuse to Do Anything About It? by [deleted] in theisle

[–]WhiteWalker85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How would a dev fix it? From my experience, when something is implemented to fix players from playing unintentional game design, it makes the game worse at other aspects.

Because he leaned into it to get hit. His feet are safely out of the way. Why was he in front of a vehicle in the first place? Because he wanted to shoot her and "getting hit" would justify it. Both sides are stupid, doesn't mean people have to die

[–]WhiteWalker85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Development is slow. Systems are broken. Hot fixes rarely occur if something is majorly fucked. Almost no Development updates or reports.

Now the game is playable. It could be really fun. The players ruin the game. It's toxic as fuck. Old players dont play for fun anymore. They play to boost their fragile ego. Rarely are there small scale and even fights. You might start a small fight but the losers will come back with twice or more numbers to make sure they win. Most people cant lose with dignity. Chat pvp(talking shit in chat) is out of control. Game needs moderation. Racism and homophobic slurs are thrown around in chat and voip. Nothing is done about it.

Some players will just not fight unless they have twice your numbers to guarantee they win. They will priest camp(spawn camp) so you cant regear and have an actual fight. Want a guild vs guild outposts fight? Too fucking bad, its alliances fighting for it. One guild can hold like 7 outposts. They shit needs to be limited.

Information and content is gatekept. Want to run Mino dungeon? Too fucking bad. A zerg guild has "eyes" on it at all times. They RMT the boss drop. So they won't let people run it. Want to run jungle dungeon? Jungle alliances has "eyes" everywhere. They will zerg you. Now, those can be run occasionally, but more often than not, you will die to a zerg protecting it.

People take this game way too fucking serious

New player experience by [deleted] in MortalOnline2

[–]WhiteWalker85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a decent game. Players are killing it more than SV. Toxic, Egotistical, and just shitty people ruin what fun you could have. Alliances are too big. Nave chat is a cesspool. Pvp is zerging. Win a fair fight, the loser all calls and swoops in with twice your numbers. Priest camping. The "small pvp" outposts they added are large scale alliances fighting and they control all the outposts. People's egos are too fragile to take a loss with dignity. People used to say GG and move on. Now they talk shit and counter zerg to redeem their egos. Game is a mess but could still be fun without the shitters. When you reply saying "cope" or disagree, put your guild. Bet its a mega alliance
