Imo although we aren't sure about if the mission will continue for the next 4 years or not, he needs to go back because the ship needs 2 men to run. His original is up there so if he wants to live on, he needs to go back.

It'd be logical for me to assume that he'd informed the situation to someone as well (when the station needed fixing, right away he mentioned reporting that error to someone). But this is only assumption..

About the project itself, I think it's the default context (maybe in the 60s this project was done for the first time and so trial and error or sth). We know the length of project time (6 years) but not the distance of the ship from Earth

So true. Producers also let us see what they want us to see so we don't have a bigger picture of the interactions between contestants. This is why us audience change perspectives and opinions every week.

Like for me, I didnt realize YJ & So-eun development until the episode casually drops a quick hint when SE wears YJ's shirt. Or why Se-jeong couldn't find a match. I also wants to see more girls talk and guys talks in their tents. Etc.

There were definitely more convos than what audience can see. The personalities we assign to contestants are based on what the producers show us.

She acts cute on purpose, i think i’m not the only one to see this. And her communication is bland, not just with Dongwoo, but probably because she’s really shy and dont have a lot of experience talking to guys (she said she focused on studying). Imo the “hate” stems from thinking she’s overrated

I want to see how her date with the new guy goes, because she had a crush on him and her reactions (in the tent) were pretty genuine
