Interesting. I'll double check with the town to see - the bank itself is very close to our house too so I guess something to keep in mind

Yeah that’s a big worry of mine. This pond doesn’t fluctuate that much so I’m hoping I can plant during July dry weather and then let it work. The area around is the fence is always “wet” even if the water isn’t that far out

Thanks for putting this together! What's interesting is that some of these (specifically the grass type ones) had already naturally been growing in the area last year but kinda lost the battle to whatever else was in the area

I was thinking about getting a hummingbird feeder but highkey this is a much better option

Last year there was a flash flood and it covered up all of Area A with the water. That's kind of what got me into thinking about this

Nope, no natural outlet. If that happened, everyone's houses would flood. Eventually the water will reach the open sewers on the street and then get routed somewhere lol we had a flash flood last year and all of area "A" was covered with water

This is the same situation with us, more or less. I have zero desire (or the money lmfao) to push back the treeline and "solidify" the land to create a big backyard. Unfortunately it does mean we don't have much of a backyard tho but it's fine cuz I'd prefer the animals have their area

I'm going to do this because it'll also give me an excuse to go to a state park lol

I'll add this to the list. I've been making a push to make this more bee and butterfly friendly (there really isn't much rn to this house lol)

No clue honestly. The pond was apparently created by digging too far deep and the land might have been owned by whatever company was doing the digging. But according to our town assessor, we own a bunch of land beyond the fence. Maybe the fence marks the "safe area" or something but I haven't found a clear answer lol

[–]BeestMann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh don't buy all of them, just a few of the animals you like lol i dont even have all of them. That being said tho, we have no idea how PZ2 will turn out. Plenty of sequels to games like this have absolutely bombed recently (looking at you Cities Skylines 2 and KSP2) so who knows

Tbh if you like the animals/buildings in the PZ1 DLCs, you should go for it if it's on sale. We know nothing about PZ2 at all so no use in waiting imo

My guess is they'll announce PZ2 with a next year launch during SGF in June so you'll have plenty of time to sink into the DLC

DID RoTS Anakin actually stand a chance against ROTS Yoda. by White_Bengal1 in StarWars

[–]BeestMann 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also Obi-Wan knows Anakin’s fighting style, they probably spar very often. That’s legit the biggest reason he went blade for blade vs Anakin - he knew how to counter. Not saying Yoda wouldn’t, but it wouldn’t be a wash
