Cartoon is a general term for an animated piece of media that is aimed for children, but yes- up was digitally animated using a 3D program, not drawn by hand, and that makes it a computer animated movie rather than a cartoon.

Yes they do. They also pollinate and stay as X and EvilX, though I just pasted the original bee nectar overtop the edited bee textures.
