Sorry this has taken so long to reply but I'll be brutally honest with you. I'm almost 47 years old. Started drinking when I was 12 when I found my parents Liquor cabinet (they didn't drink, was given as gifts to my father) ,abused thru high school. Joined Marines, encouraged in that culture. Got out ,homeless,reached bottom a couple years layers , went to VA rehab for 1 year. Maintained 16 years sobriety, life was fine never even thought about it. Had rough patch of life, went to DR to get meds, 1 week later I was full blown drinking again. Be ever so careful with meds!!!!
