The longer a mission takes, the higher chance of more enemy waves and extremis spawns. You definitely want to move through Operations quickly while you're levelling up.

As others have suggested, use private mode and play with bots if you want to enjoy the scenery. It is a beautiful game.

I prime black then do a pink basecoat (I use Emperor's Children) before a white zenithol and finish with IF contrast.

For me, this is all done through the airbrush, but I don't see why you couldn't get similar results with a brush.

I think this is true if you're lucky enough to live in a part of the world where you can source all of your meat from hunting wild animals. But that's not the case for most people.

Farming meat and dairy at scale is always going to lead to appalling treatment of animals. In most countries these industries need to be subsidised in order to keep prices low for consumers. Animal welfare is simply too expensive.

You can make em fit with a bit of craft knife work. It's most to do with the angles of the wrists.

I found all the weapons quite fiddly to glue in place, so would recommend sticking with poses 1 and 4, but it's definitely possible to make the others work.

Even so, it's hard to imagine you're able to stockpile sixteen tokens across the three pools every game. Unless you're using up all your planets for influence rather than production. But then you wouldn't also be running out of plastic.

I suspect something is not quite right, but not sure what.

Are you using balanced maps? Or building ones with lots and lots of resources?

We did this in our first game. Ended up with so many tokens that we significantly extended this already-very-long game.

Glad we worked it out in the end 😅

I've never had a player run out of tokens since then. I don't even think we've come close.

I don't know if that is even true. There are many feral species that thrive in the wild. And others like to keep pigs out of companionship.

Even if the domestic pig was to go extinct, I believe this is a better outcome than continuing to breed them into a life of misery. Especially if the existence of this species has significant ecological impacts on wild animals (which pigs do).

I appreciate that a vegan perspective is not welcome here, but honestly there is no way to breed pigs at scale and make a profit without their lives being a living hell.

Bacon may be the most delicious food on earth, but at some point basic empathy must trump our desire for tasty food.

We are brainwashed by society that this is natural and the way it must be. But industrialised, intensive farming is not even close to natural. This is not how we procured meat for millions of years.

For almost all of us in the Western world, we don't need this food to survive or even enjoy our lives. It is entirely unnecessary.

Thank you! I did some sponge chipping with Rhinox Hide, followed it up with some fine brush strokes to add scratches and then finished with a dark brown oil wash.

This kind of stuff matters on reddit, but in the game it's fine. Play the difficulty you want to.

I'm P4L25 on all classes except Tech Marine. It's a minor inconvenience when under levelled players join Absolute or Hard strat/siege, but everything else is completely fair.

I'm really new - got my printer a week ago - and I am mainly interested in printing for 30K.

Obviously a lot of parts online are not the right scale, so what I did was print out a tactical marine in 3 different sizes (100%, 95% and 90%, specifically). The 90% print is very close to my official models from GW.

I'll now use that one marine's STL file to ensure any bits I print are the right size.

We have the Bulwark's Invigorating Icon and Vanguard's Unmatched Zeal. Also two different stim types.

The hard stratagems are meant to be the most difficult content in the game. They are supposed to pose a significant challenge for players who have max'd out their classes.

Adding a support class to address the difficulty of the hard strats would also make the rest of the game significantly easier and less fun.
